Most SAP MDG projects don't fail because of the technology.
They fail in the quiet middle: approval workflows nobody designed for real life, validations that block the wrong people, and replication that works in test and surprises everyone in production.
After 16 years in SAP, my rule is simple: design the change request process around how people actually work, then configure the tool to match.
One question I now ask before any MDG build: "Who will be stuck if this approval step goes wrong?"
What's the first thing you'd check in an MDG design?
